Freshman Invasion

Week of Welcome (WOW) has just ended. This past week we saw 3,500 new Cal Poly students descend on the Central Coast. If you count the start of Cuesta back in August, there are a total of 5,000+ students who just moved in to the sleepy little town of San Luis Obispo. For many of the young men and women, it is their first time away from home. No Mom + no Dad + no rules = a whole lotta potential havoc on one's life. This is such a crucial time for us to make an impact in their lives. It is true that how these new coeds choose to invest the next four years of their lives will make a significant impact on the next 40 years. Think about that! So, these next two or so weeks of gathering and sharing the life and love of Jesus can and will make an incredible impact on eternity. Please join us in praying for the work to be done. We are blessed with a tremendous staff team and students to cover this place in good news and good deeds.
