Good Times in Fort Collins

Hello friends - Hope all is well with you. Just wanted to give you an update and let you know we made it out to Fort Collin, Co. nice and safe. I, Joe, drove out with a good buddy (and personal Priola web designer) Mr. Noah Stokes. We had a nice time driving out and seeing some sites. Lots of good tunes, good laughs, and fun memories....especially when I fell out of the raft in Class IV rapids and took Noah with me! Ha ha. We are loving life in Fort Collins. I am taking classes and really receiving some new life to my soul. It has been a long and uncomfortable year (I'll spare the details) and a summer in the classroom, reading books, and writing papers have been water to my thirsty sould. I know, I am so weird that way. Thank you to all of you who made it possible for us to be here. The classes, the time to slow down and reflect on the year, our life direction, and vision for minsitry has been so good for us. We are eagerly anticipating the year. Allison has been doing some HR stuff for our region by meeting and mentoring some New Staff. She is so gifted at welcoming, encouraging, and coaching. It is serving a huge need with some holes in our region right now. She is also taking a one week Psalms class and being nourished and challenged. We are getting good time with our daughter Mikela. She loves the pool, and is such a fish. Daddy is so so so stoked on that. Someday we'll be out surfing together. I cannot wait. In the meantime, we miss our friends and family dearly. We miss the ocean and cooler air temperatures. We also miss our beds. However, the 6 weeks we have had hear in Fort Collins will be the longest we have stayed in one place in the past 12 months. Sooooo, we miss a lot of things, but love the stability of being in our little nest here in Colorado! Til next time!
