Amazing Leaders!

As a campus minsitry, we are blessed with some fantastic leaders. For example, every Thursday our first year Bible Study Leaders (Track 1 or T1 Leaders) gather for training. They come not receiving class credit, nor recognition from professors and peers. They come because of a committment to our Lord Jesus and his Great Commission. They come because they care about not only reaching the lost, but because they are passionate to raise up young men and women who will follow Jesus for a lifetime, as well as multiply their lives and faith into generations beyond their own lives.

These young student leaders come rain or shine, even when many of their classmates hang out in the main quad listening to live music and chowing on tri-tip barbeque as its mesquite smells waft through the doors of our classroom. We are blessed! Each day I thank the Lord for these student leaders. Most of them are taking full loads of courses, work part-time jobs (some close to full-time), have hobbies, are involved in many lots of extracurricular activities.

This is a generation that understands that to get all (to fully experience abundant life), your truly have to give all. They are a generation sold out for the gospel. Each day we have the privilege of working with some amazing leaders from this generation. Join me in praying for these young followers of Jesus as they give the whole of their lives for His glory and Kingdom!
